About Watson's Driving Academy

Watson's Driving Academy is owned and operated by Wayne Watson.

Serving Dillon, Marion, Florence, and other surrounding counties.

Watson's Driving Academy was founded in June, 2009 to provide an educational atmosphere for learning which will enhance the beginning driver's knowledge, both in the classroom and behind the wheel to become the safest, responsible, and most defensive drivers on the road.

About Wayne Watson

I was born and raised in Marion County. I graduated from Britton's Neck High School. I joined the South Carolina Highway Patrol and moved to Dillon County, where I am currently still a resident. I'm married to Sandra Hinson Watson of Dillon. After 30 years of service in law enforcement, I retired in 2009 as a Sergeant assigned to SCHP Troop Five Headquarters.

I've always been willing to help young people learning to drive even before starting my business. After serving with the South Carolina Highway Patrol for 30 years, I've seen how dangerous driver's can be on our highways.
